The following terms and Conditions shall govern the conduct of every person placed on probation or on community control in the Washington County Common Pleas Court
- You shall not engage in assaultive or destructive behavior or threaten assaultive behavior.
- You shall obey all federal, state, and local laws and ordinances.
- You shall report any arrest, citation for a violation of law, conviction for any offense and any other contact with law enforcement officer to your probation officer no later than the next business day. You will not enter into any agreement or other arrangement with any law enforcement agency which might place you in the position of violating any law or condition of your supervision unless you have obtained permission in writing from your probation officer.
- You shall not associate with or communicate with any person having a felony conviction, except as expressly permitted by your probation officer. Exceptions may be made for family members or employment purposes.
- You shall always keep your probation officer informed of your residence. You shall not change your residence without first obtaining approval of your probation officer. You shall remain at your residence from 12:00 midnight to 6:00 a.m. unless otherwise authorized by your probation officer. Exceptions may be made for employment purposes.
- You shall regularly seek work or work at a lawful occupation and support your legal dependents, if any, to the best of your ability. You shall notify your probation officer no later than the next business day if you are fired, laid off or your job otherwise ends. You shall not quit a job or change employment without first having obtained permission from your probation officer.
- You shall secure advance permission from your probation officer if you wish to incur debts whether by borrowing money or by installment buying.
- You shall pay all Court Costs and Restitution, when applicable, as directed by your probation officer.
- You shall not leave the county or state without the permission of your probation officer. You may visit Wood County, West Virginia, between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. without the permission of your probation officer. Exceptions may be made for employment purposes.
- You shall follow the instructions of your probation officer, including any written instructions issued at any time during the period of supervision.
- You shall not purchase, obtain or operate or have under your control a motor vehicle unless you have liability insurance and the approval of your probation officer.
- You shall not possess, use, sell, distribute, or have under your control illegal drugs or controlled substances or extracts containing then in any form, nor instruments for administering them except on prescription of a licensed physician. You shall submit to drug testing, at your own expense, if required by your probation officer.
- You shall not purchase, own, possess or have under your control and firearm, deadly weapon or dangerous ordnance or ammunition.
- You shall allow a search of your person, residence or vehicle by your probation officer without a warrant, when he/she has reason to believe you may be in violation of your probation.
- You shall sign a release of confidential information for any public or private agency if requested to do so by your probation officer.
- You shall report to your probation officer as directed.
