Cora Marshall

Commissioner Cora Marshall was elected on November 4, 2008 and
began her first term on January 3, 2009. Cora is a life-long resident of
Washington County and is next to the youngest of seven children. Cora and her husband Gary were married in 1974 and live in Liberty Township where they raise beef cattle.
Prior to her public service, Cora and her husband helped Ohio and West Virginia families realize the American dream through Marshall Real Estate, Inc. Marshall Real Estate, Inc. was formed in 1988, is located near the banks of the Ohio River in downtown Marietta, Ohio and continues to offer full Real Estate services.
As a Washington County Commissioner, Cora pledges to Washington County residents and business owners that she will apply her sound management skills, strong leadership style and uncompromising standards to enable open and transparent governing operations with fairness to all citizens. Cora is focused on advancing the County government’s embrace of technology to enable greater levels of customer service and ease of access to those services.
Cora is a Commissioner that is not afraid to ask questions, and find more efficient and productive ways to do more for the Citizens of Washington County.
