Steven W. Weber ![]() Steven W. Weber was born and raised in Marietta, Ohio. A graduate of Marietta High School, Steve also attended Washington State Community College and Marietta College. A 32 year veteran of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Mr. Weber was twice voted trooper of the year and received an award for saving two children from a burning car. After retiring from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Steve worked as a courier for People Banking & Trust Company and then, the Weights and Measures Inspector for the Washington County Auditor. With a successful first bid for Washington County Commissioner, Mr. Weber is dedicated to serving the residents of Washington County. Commissioner Weber has always been very active in his local community. A collector of antiques, Mr. Weber was very instrumental in moving the Strait Run Schoolhouse to Buell Island in Lowell, Ohio, where it stands today as a mini museum. Steve is a former youth baseball coach, a former Scoutmaster, and a current member of St. John’s Evangelical Church in Lowell. Mr. Weber was elected to several terms on the Lowell Village Council, worked with then representative Tom Johnson on the Muskingum River Advisory Board, and was appointed by Governor Voinovich to the Ohio State Parks Board. Commissioner Weber resides in Lowell with his wife, Judy, where they live in a restored century old home. They have two grown children, Susan and Douglas, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
