Wrege, Registrar Chasity Mayle, Deputy Registrar The Vital Statistics Office has Birth and Death Records from 1908 to the Present for Births or Deaths that occurred 'OUTSIDE' the Marietta City limits. Certificates are filed according to the place of occurrence, not according to residence. County Birth and Death records can be requested through www.vitalchek.com . Hospital Birth and Death records as well as occurrences 'WITHIN' the Marietta City limits can be requested through www.uscerts.com. E-mail inquiries can be submitted to vitalstats@washingtongov.org. For deaths prior to 1908, we have an index of what is on file with Probate Court. $20.00 Certified We accept personal checks, MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express.
