About Microchips

The microchip number is registered through the microchip company to the dog’s owner. When a dog has a microchip, we read the number with a scanner and attempt to contact the owner through that number. It is important to keep the registration information (such as your name and address) current with the microchip company.

Microchips do not replace license tags.
