EMA/LEPC

Director: Jeffrey D. Lauer

The mission of the Washington County Emergency Management Agency is to serve the citizens of Washington County and its communities through effective planning for natural and man-made disasters. Our goal is to save lives, protect property and the environment through coordination of an integrated emergency management system with all emergency response organizations, support services and volunteers. We will train and exercise emergency responders in both the public and private sectors. We will coordinate efforts toward a rapid recovery from disasters with an effective disaster assistance program.

LEPC

The Washington County Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) is a County Board established under Ohio Revised Code 3750. The functions of the LEPC office are coordinated by the Washington County Emergency Management Agency.
