STALKING CIVIL PROTECTION ORDER (SCPO)

Ohio Law defines Menacing by Stalking as follows: "No person by engaging in a pattern of conduct shall knowingly cause or attempt to cause another person to believe that the offender will cause physical harm to the other person or cause mental distress to the other person." (Ohio Revised Code Section 2903.211 (A)).

  • It is not required that the respondent be related to the petitioner in any way.
  • You do not need an attorney to file a Stalking Protection Order.
  • You will be required to appear in court to obtain a Stalking Protection Order.
