Mission
Our mission is to serve the citizens of Washington County and its communities through effective planning for natural and man-made disasters.
Goal
Our goal is to save lives, protect property and the environment through coordination of an integrated emergency management system with all emergency response organizations, support services and volunteers.
Responsibilities
We strive to accomplish this through a continuing program of outreach, coordination, planning, training, and exercising in both the public and private sectors for all hazards and for all four phases of emergency management:
- Mitigation
- Preparedness
- Response
- Recovery
