Cost
The cost for certified birth/death records through Probate Court is $5. The cost for a certified marriage record is $2.
We do not accept personal checks. Payment should be made in cash or money order made payable to Washington County Probate Court. Requests by mail should include a self-addressed stamped envelope.
Closed Records
While most Probate Court records are open to the public, Ohio law closes records pertaining to mental illness and adoptions.
