"How We Roll" is a FREE on-road educational bicycling experience, offered by trained ride leaders.

Here's how it will go: After demonstrating helmet fitting and a bike safety check we will conduct a brief orientation. Then we will hop on our bikes to ride.

The ride will include a few stops where we will discuss topics including:

  • Bicycle traffic law
  • Proper lane positioning
  • Riding in a visible and predictable manner
  • Avoiding common accidents
  • Interacting peacefully with motor vehicle traffic
  • Q&A on any additional topics of interest

This is not a recreational or "fitness" ride. We will ride at a leisurely pace, biking less than 4 miles. This ride is designed to accommodate riders of all ages and abilities. We pace according to the slowest rider in the group. At the end of the ride, you'll be able to confidently navigate traffic by bicycle.

Each ride is limited to FIVE participants. Advance registration is requested.
