1. What documentation do I need to apply for a pension?: You always need a copy of your DD214, or if applicable, a copy of your marriage license, children(s) birth certificates, and spouses and children(s) Social Security numbers.

2. What documentation do I need to apply for disability compensation?: You always need a copy of your DD214, or if applicable, a copy of your marriage license, children(s) birth certificates, spouses and children(s) Social Security numbers, plus any medical records on file.

3. Does your office make Veterans ID cards?: Yes, we make ID cards for Washington County Veterans who earned an honorable discharge. Be sure to bring your DD214 with an honorable discharge.

4. What services does Veteran Services provide?: We provide assistance for filing claims, help to locate and retrieve records, assistance for dependents of veterans, and answer any question you may have.
