Child Support

The whereabouts of the non-custodial parent must be known to establish paternity, or to establish and enforce a child and medical support order.

Child Support Establishment

A child support order determines the financial and medical support responsibilities of the parents.

Paternity establishment refers to the legal determination of being named as the father of a child.

Review & Adjustment (Modification) of a Child Support Order

R&A is when the CSEA employee looks at the current financial information of both parents to determine whether or not the child support and medical order should be changed.

Once a child support order is issued, the Child Support Enforcement Agency (CSEA) can help your child receive the support they are entitled to in a variety of ways.

Support Is Key
Mission Statement
Children are first on our agenda. To ensure a brighter future for our children, we encourage both parents to be accountable so children receive the support they deserve. This is accomplished through agency teamwork, outside partnerships, and under the laws of the State of Ohio.
